partitioning question

Partitioning question...

I installed Beta 2 on a partition I created with PartitionMagic. Boots fine, works fine, but I need to switch back to XP. There is, however, no option for this. All my files and folders are intact, but I can't switch back to XP. I've tried booting to a CD-ROM to get to Fdisk, but I can't get it to boot from the CD - just keeps booting into Vista. I've changed my Bios info to boot from the CD but still nothing. All I need to do is switch the active partition to the one that contains XP, but I can't get PartitionMagic to run on Vista, nor any other partitioning program.
How do I just switch the active partition?

In Vista, click Start > right click Computer > Manage > Disk Management, right click the XP Volume and select any options available to set it as the Active Partition. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
